Its that time of the year again, the “new year, new me” time of the year when everyone will be contemplating on characters to drop or cultivate, friends to keep or cut off, etc. all in the name of new year resolution. How well did your last resolution turn out? Did you become a new you this year or is it a spillover. Anyways, the real question remains how do you achieve your new year resolution in 2020?
Often times the year comes to an end and the same act of new year resolution is repeated after the previous new year resolution was only achieved in the first one week of that year.
New year resolution is a promise you make to yourself to have a better year, regardless of the resolution you commit to, the goal is to improve your life. More importantly, it’s not about making a new year resolution but it’s about setting goals and targets you want to achieve and how you effectively work towards them.
It would officially be 2020 soon and some of us have made our resolutions on the things to do and not to do. The truth is no resolution can work if you’re not intentional about your growth. You have to consciously commit to things that build you and that makes you better. Stop being lazy. Stop Procrastinating. Let that mind brainstorm idea. Leave your comfort zone. You have the ability and it is all within your capacity to do.

The real question is how long will you continue to run? You planning to enter a relationship in 2020, how is it going for you? I hope you have a better character now. You shouldn’t put someone in slavery in 2020 with your malfunctioning behavior. Don’t continue in a routine of wickedness and expect everyone around to love you the way you are. Work on yourself, my dear. From the previous point, I talked about setting goals that motivate you. Like I mentioned earlier, all goals are achievable it’s just the time frame that matters. Some people want to fall in love, get married, grow from 1k dollars to 1billion dollars, visit 30 countries all in 2020. Depression is real my dear and it’s hardly ever something one enjoys. So, limit resolution in 2020 to your handling capacity(i.e set realistic resolutions) so you won’t have to be angry with everyone around you. It’s enough for anyone to just mentally set goals but it’s also important to write down goals and put it somewhere you’ll constantly see it.
